2018 Christmas |

Oddly enough, I find myself out of bed because of a Christmas letter :). Back the first of October I had wrote a Christmas letter and it was ready to be printed in November and would be mailed December 1st to a concise customer base….however my computer crashed and the letter was lost. I had tried several times to recall those words but they never came nor did I find the time to put pen to paper. Circumstances had me in and out of town for the last few weeks which has not allowed me quiet time to write and so I was going to let it go but tonight my mind and heart would not settle.
This evening, I sat looking at our tree with soft lights glowing in our living room and reminiscing of Christmases I cherished with our children while they were little. Then I smiled thinking of so many little ones who would wake on Christmas Day with that same excitement as ours. Thoughts then flooded my heart of how many people (myself included) have loved ones who have passed on and would not be with us on Christmas Day. Holidays are so “hyped” that it has a way of presenting HIGHS and LOWS to all. What we do with that excitement or pain we may find ourselves dealing with is what really matters.
Gifts are fun to give and receive but it should not be just about something tangible! Pain can not be dealt with by tangible items as well. But it can be with a gift known as FAITH, HOPE, TRUST, BELIEF, KNOWING and having a relationship with ‘the little baby named Jesus’ who is now sitting at the Father’s right hand. He was the TRUE GIFT and that gift was freely given to all of us and just for the taking we can receive his promise of eternal life.
You may ask, so why a Christmas letter like this especially from a business….because our company has been built and is based on our faith, hope, trust, belief, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are not ashamed and we proudly declare who we place our trust in. Relationships are very important to us, not only in our faith, personal lives, but with our employees first and foremost and then most certainly with our customers. Which is why……………….
