2020 is leaving us quickly and in some case - can't be quick enough :). WHAT JUST HAPPENED ?? Moving on !
Psalm 107:1 (Start each new day with a grateful heart.) . O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. When you start each day with grateful heart, you invite positivity into your life. I am learning that having a gratitude heart is a discipline. A discipline that must be practiced as well as exercised daily.
Each morning when I awake, I am grateful for just being alive. Alive, is not by chance you know. It is only by the grace of God that this happens. I arise, making my bed first and foremost because it starts my day with a sense of accomplishment, starts my day off right, sets my mood, stress level and a sense of organization. And I have now taken control of what I hope to produce for the rest of the day "something of worth." Each morning I am fully aware that I move and breath because of God’s grace. A heart becomes grateful when it experiences the significance of the Love of Christ.
When our eyes open each morning, we are blessed with another day, another opportunity to live life and experience all that it offers. We have the opportunity to touch someone around us. It is a day that allows us to love, influence, learn something new, share life experience with others and just an opportunity to make it the best day ever.
A day to fulfill our goals and also to feel good about our achievements and success. Daily having a grateful heart will improve your life without realization of what has actually just happened. Gratefullness of friends, family, job, car, a roof over our head, home with heating & air-conditioning, air we breath, health, religious freedom, and living in American where we have so many freedoms that a lot of people will never experience.
Whatever stage of life you find yourself during these season, you must find a way to dig deep and start each day with a grateful heart. In those moments when you feel all alone or maybe even you feel like what you do doesn’t really matter to anyone or anything - just know YOU DO.
During the Christmas season, it is so easy to get caught up with the excitement as well as the material things that so many place importance on. But I wish to focus on the real reason we should celebrate. God gave his only son Jesus, out of unconditional love, so maybe we can embody God’s love to others as well.
It’s really not about how many presents you give or receive but it’s about unconditional love. Step our of your comfort zone and look around. Open your door and heart to those who don’t have loved ones to celebrate with. Spread love, peace and hope to others just as Jesus would have done himself.
Merry Christmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR - WELCOME - - 2020
Have a blessed day ! ~Cherie
