Top executives of organizations can preach, teach, plead and even rail about the importance of change, but if the leaders aren't setting an example of change, don't be surprised if change is slow or thwarted entirely. If "leadership by example" is a cliche, it's also the only kind of leadership that really works- especially if you hope to lead the change.
Culture Change comes when leadership keeps a pulse on feedback, problems, evaluate situtation, flexibility as well as measuring success. Mix employees with different experience levels as well as age levels. Younger team members provide energy, optimisim, fresh ideals whereas the veteran team members provides stability, knowledge of as well as past experiences of trail and error. The blend of both provides the company as well as our customers with an excellent product and/or service.
